In April 2023, Derek kindly agreed to visit MS Research and Relief Fund and offer his support, knowledge and guidance as we started our journey into the world of physiotherapy, looking to recruit a Physiotherapist to drive our free services for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) forward, and as an added bonus Derek agreed to become a Patron of the Charity on his return from a work commitment abroad.

With 40 years of experience keeping Newcastle United players at the top of their game. Derek has penned his remarkable career in the book My Story in Black and White: Four Decades Fixing the Mags a must-read for any ‘Toon’ fan or sports enthusiast.
