Introducing our physiotherapy services

Our physiotherapy services are tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals with MS. Our skilled physiotherapist will work with you to improve mobility, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being using tailored exercise and physical activity plans.

The Pashler Physiotherapy Centre is one of only a handful of places in the UK to have an AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill which we hope will be a game changer for some of our service users.

The Alter G

The AlterG treadmill offers significant benefits for individuals with MS, enhancing their ability to exercise safely and effectively. By utilising advanced Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology, the AlterG treadmill reduces the user's effective body weight, alleviating stress on joints and muscles. This allows individuals with MS to engage in walking or running exercises without the fear of overexertion or injury. The controlled, low-impact environment helps improve cardiovascular health, increase muscle strength, and maintain overall mobility, which are crucial for managing the symptoms of MS and improving the quality of life.

MSRRF are one of only a handful of places in the country using this equipment to benefit people with MS.

The Story of Southside House

Our state of the art physiotherapy centre was made possible thanks to a  legacy received in 2017. South Side House will officially open as the Pashler Physiotherapy Centre in 2025. This was the foundation for our charity to begin the move toward becoming a physiotherapy led service. The Pashler Physiotherapy Centre is one of only a handful of places in the UK to have an AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill which has been a game changer for some of our service users.
