This weekend, we’re thrilled to be the chosen charity for Basic24, a 24-hour solo sim-racing challenge hosted by YouTuber and streamer Basic Ollie – all in support of MS Research and Relief Fund (MSRRF)

🏁 What is Basic24?
The Basic24 is a unique endurance event on the iRacing platform – one of the world’s most popular online motorsport simulators. Drivers from around the world take on a full 24 hours of racing, testing their skill, stamina, and focus.
🚗 How it Works
Each racer competes solo, taking scheduled breaks every hour for safety. Race Control volunteers oversee the event to ensure fairness and wellbeing throughout.
Viewers can get involved too! By donating through the official JustGiving page, supporters can choose a light-hearted “penalty” or challenge for a racer – such as singing a song, telling a dad joke, or performing another fun forfeit live during the stream. It’s a great way to keep the event entertaining while raising funds for a meaningful cause.

📺 How to Watch
The race will be streamed live for the full 24 hours on Basic Ollie’s YouTube and Twitch channels, starting at approximately 12pm on Saturday 11 October 2025.

💬 A Note on the Stream
While the Basic24 team strives to keep the event welcoming and respectful, please be aware that some humour may not be suitable for all audiences. No offensive language is permitted, and Race Control will monitor the broadcast, but as with any live sporting event, competitive energy and unscripted moments can occur. The organisers appreciate viewers’ understanding and continued support.
💙 Why It Matters
All funds raised will go directly to MS Research and Relief Fund (MSRRF), helping us provide vital services for people living with multiple sclerosis across the UK.
Find out more about the wonderful work of our charity by watching our 5 minute video.
Together, we can turn 24 hours of racing into lasting impact for the MSRRF.
