Kate reached out to MSRRF after her own journey with MS inspired her to delve deeper into nutrition. Seeing such remarkable improvements inspired Kate to start her own business over at Kate Dawson Health. Find out more below...

KATE DAWSON HEALTH (Autoimmune Coach):

I’m Kate, a qualified Nutritional Therapist who specialises in helping people with autoimmune conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS) improve their health through personalised nutrition and lifestyle strategies that reduce inflammation and restore balance.

After being diagnosed with MS in 2010, I dedicated myself to researching the condition and exploring treatments across different countries. However, it wasn’t until I trained in nutrition that I experienced real change. By simply adjusting what I ate, I noticed a remarkable improvement — less brain fog, more energy and strength, better sleep, and a brighter mood. While it hasn’t been a cure, it has given me back control over how I feel. I now wake up each day feeling positive and empowered, able to work, exercise, and enjoy holidays and family adventures again.

My passion for food has grown so much that I’ve even started planting my own vegetables and herbs. For me, healthy eating isn’t about deprivation — it’s about choosing nourishing ingredients and discovering which foods truly work for your body. Alongside nutrition, I also focus on lifestyle strategies that support wellbeing through good sleep, sunlight, movement, and relaxation. Finding the right balance between these areas is, I believe, essential to feeling great every day.
